This is the MOST EXTREME example of salvaged wood!  The vertical members of this bookcase are virtually held together by the functional wedges that make this open back style rigid.  The wedges are Black Walnut and waxed without stain or varnish.  The bookcase is made from Red Oak and all the shelves are chosen sequential from the same log.  Definitely one of a kind!
